Prayer for Wavering Faith

Faith doesn’t mean never struggling — it means trusting the One who holds you steady, even when you’re weak.

Heavenly Father,
Lately, my faith has felt shaky. One day I’m confident, the next I’m unsure. I’m tired of feeling tossed around by circumstances, emotions, and fears. But I know You are not shaken — and I want to be anchored in You.

Forgive me for doubting Your goodness or forgetting what You’ve already done in my life. Strengthen what remains. Breathe fresh faith into my heart. Even when my faith feels small, I believe You can grow it.

I surrender my questions, my disappointments, and my need to see everything clearly. I don’t want to walk by sight — I want to walk by faith. Help me to trust Your character even when I don’t understand Your ways.

Remind me that You are with me in the valley just as much as on the mountain. You haven’t left me. You are still working. And You are still God.

So I hold on — even if all I can hold is Your name.
