What’s hidden in darkness loses its power when brought into God’s light — not for shame, but for freedom.
Heavenly Father,
I come to You in truth. You see everything — even the things I’ve tried to keep hidden. These secret sins have entangled me, and though I’ve tried to justify or ignore them, I know they grieve Your heart and damage my soul.
I no longer want to live in the shadows. I bring these sins into Your light, not to be condemned, but to be cleansed. You are merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in love. I believe You are ready to forgive and restore.
Lord, break the power of secrecy in my life. Help me to stop pretending and start surrendering. Give me the courage to walk in confession, to seek accountability, and to live in the freedom that comes with truth.
Wash me clean. Renew my mind. Change my desires. Teach me to hate what is evil and cling to what is good. Let me not just be a believer in name, but in practice — walking in the light as You are in the light.
Thank You for being patient with me. Thank You that no sin is too deep for Your grace. Today, I take a bold step toward freedom.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
