Rebellion resists God’s rule, but repentance invites His mercy — and His arms are always open to welcome us home.
Heavenly Father,
I come to You humbly, knowing I have rebelled against Your Word and resisted Your will. I’ve chosen my own path, ignored Your voice, and hardened my heart — but I’m tired of running. I want to come home.
Lord, I repent. I no longer want to fight against what’s right or pretend that I know better than You. I see now that my way leads to emptiness and destruction. Only You give life. Only You satisfy.
Please forgive me for every act of disobedience — whether hidden or known. Wash me clean. Soften my heart. Renew my mind. Teach me to love Your commands, to delight in Your truth, and to trust that Your boundaries are for my good.
Break the chains of pride, stubbornness, and independence that keep me from surrender. Let Your Spirit lead me in obedience — not out of fear, but out of love for You.
I’m not too far gone. I know that in Christ, I am welcomed, restored, and made new. Thank You for never giving up on me.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
