Even when you feel forgotten or unseen by people, God is near — closer than your breath, and faithful to stay.
Heavenly Father,
In this moment, I feel alone. I feel disconnected, overlooked, and even forgotten — but I come to You, the One who has never turned away from me. You said in Your Word that You will never leave me nor forsake me, so I take refuge in that promise now.
Lord, speak into this silence I feel. Fill the empty places with Your presence. I may be isolated in the eyes of people, but I am never invisible to You. Help me to feel Your nearness — not just to know it in my mind, but to experience it in my spirit.
I confess that sometimes I’ve tried to fill this void with distractions, relationships, or even sin. But today, I lay all of that down and ask You to be enough for me. Be the Friend who sticks closer than a brother. Be the Companion of my heart and the Anchor of my soul.
Your Word says You place the lonely in families. So I ask that You surround me with godly community, with encouragement, and with people who reflect Your love. But more than anything, help me to be satisfied in You first — so I never expect people to fill what only You can.
I believe You see me. You know me. You love me. And I am never truly alone — not in the dark, not in the silence, not in the waiting.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
