Envy drains joy and distorts identity — but God calls you to live free, content, and confident in His perfect plan for your life.
Heavenly Father,
I come to You with honesty. I’ve looked at the lives of others and allowed comparison to steal my joy. I’ve felt envy rise in my heart — quietly, but powerfully — and I don’t want to live in that bondage any longer.
Forgive me, Lord, for measuring my worth against what others have. I confess that I’ve allowed jealousy to grow where contentment should live. You are my Provider. You are my portion. And what You have for me is not delayed, denied, or dependent on someone else's journey.
Help me to celebrate others without resentment. Help me to bless, not compete. Teach me to live fully present and deeply grateful for what You’ve entrusted to me. Uproot every trace of envy and replace it with praise.
You’ve created me uniquely. My story is not theirs — and theirs is not mine. Help me to walk in freedom, knowing that You withhold no good thing from those who trust You.
Today, I let go of envy. I receive peace, gratitude, and renewed joy.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
