Prayer for Confusion

Confusion may cloud your path, but God is not the author of confusion — He leads with peace, wisdom, and purpose.

Heavenly Father,
Right now, I feel lost. I don’t know what to do, what to decide, or where to go next. My thoughts are tangled, and clarity seems out of reach. But even in this confusion, I turn to You — because You are not the author of chaos, but of peace.

You promised to direct the steps of those who trust in You. So I surrender this moment, this decision, and this season into Your hands. I don’t want to lean on my own understanding — I want to be led by Your Spirit.

Quiet the noise around me, and quiet the storm within me. Let Your voice rise above the confusion. Give me wisdom beyond my own. Open and close doors according to Your will. Let Your Word be a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

Even if I don’t see the full picture, help me to take the next faithful step — trusting that You go before me, and You will never lead me astray.

I choose peace over panic, and trust over torment.
